Budget

The Budget module gives you a real-time view of your community's cash flow: how much money you have, in which containers (main cash register, dedicated booklets, funds, campaigns), and how that money moves between different items.

It is the financial steering module of your organization: every collection (payments, donations), every internal expense and every transfer is reflected here instantly.

What do you want to do?

Budget containers at a glance

Your Budget is made up of several containers that isolate money by destination. Understanding these containers is essential for reading your balances correctly.

ContainerWhat it is forConcrete example
Main cash registerGeneral, unassigned cash flowThe "common pot" where any donation without a specific destination lands
BookletSub-budget dedicated to a projectBooklet "Prayer hall renovation", booklet "Family assistance"
FundTargeted collection with optional goalFund "Youth trip 2026"
CampaignBudget linked to a marketing campaignCampaign "Kippur 5786"
Booklet groupGrouping of linked eventsEvent Journey "Tishrei holiday cycle"
Always "Budget"

In Unisoft, we speak of Budget (singular) to refer to your entire cash flow, and of booklets for the sub-containers. The module used to be called "Accounts" β€” you may still see this term internally, but the official interface says "Budget".

Module overview

Each collected payment feeds a specific booklet (determined by the payment reason). You can then transfer funds between booklets, view the history of operations, and check off these operations against your bank statements.
