The Website module groups together everything used to build and maintain the public site of your community — the one your congregants, donors, and visitors see when they type your organization's address. It is Unisoft's online showcase: home page, custom CMS pages, navigation menu, liturgical schedules, upcoming events, photo galleries, and all the appearance settings (colors, fonts, home page sections, etc.).

Where is my public site?

Your site is published at https://[your-organization].unisoft.world (for example https://beth-david.unisoft.world). If you have connected a custom domain name, it replaces the default address automatically.

This is the address you share with donors on your posters, in your emails, on your WhatsApp and Instagram accounts, etc.

Quickly locate your site's URL

From the backoffice, open the My pages page (/app/web/pages): the public URL of each page is clickable in the URL column and opens your site directly in a new tab.

The 7 Website sidebar entries

In the backoffice, the Website entry in the left sidebar expands into seven pages:

Events ≠ Event Journeys

Events (/app/events/list) are simple announcements displayed on the public site (a conference, a meal, a ceremony). Event Journeys (/app/pe/list), on the other hand, are used to organize a collection or paid registration (full Shabbat, sale of matzot, holidays, etc.). Don't confuse them.

Configuration vs Theme: what's the difference?

Two pages look similar at first glance, but they don't play the same role:

• Configuration (/app/web/config) — historical, functional. Today it essentially contains links to your social networks (displayed in the site footer) and the bank fees suggestion threshold in the donation funnel. Older interface, currently being modernized.
• Site theme (/app/web/theme) — unified 2026 interface. Everything related to the visual appearance and structure of the home page: theme choice, primary and secondary colors, fonts, hero carousel slides, reminder banners, home page sections, global pre-footer sections.

In practice, start with Site theme for customization work and come back to Configuration only to fill in your social links or adjust the fees threshold.

Main site and virtual sites

A single organization can manage several sites in parallel — for example a main site for the community and a secondary site dedicated to a choir, a study center, or a kollel. These are called virtual sites: sites published under a different URL but attached to the same Unisoft account.

Each virtual site has its own configuration, its own theme, its own pages. Virtual sites are set up by the Unisoft team at creation; if you need any, contact support.

Multi-language

All textual content in the Website module (menu labels, section titles, subtitles, descriptions, banners, etc.) is multilingual: it can be entered in French, English, Hebrew, and other languages depending on what is enabled for your organization. The interface displays a language selector above the relevant fields; visitors see the language matching their browser preference.

URLs: not multi-language

URLs (links to your social networks, a button URL, a page route) are unique regardless of the language. If you want a different link per language, create two separate pages.

Best practices to get started

   Fill in the basics in Configuration

   Open /app/web/config and add at minimum your WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram links. They appear automatically in the footer of your site.

   Choose a theme in Site theme

   Go to /app/web/theme, Appearance tab. Select the 2026 (new) theme and adjust the primary color to your community's tones.

   Add at least one hero slide

   Hero tab → Add a slide. Add a nice image (landscape, wide format), a short title ("Welcome to the Beth David community"), a subtitle, and a "Donate" button.

   Check the home page sections

   Home sections tab. Enable or hide the proposed blocks (Events, Support, Schedules, Gallery, etc.) depending on what you want to highlight.

   Publish your first CMS pages if needed

   Go to /app/web/pages and create the classic pages: About, Contact, Legal notices, etc.
