Log out
Simply closing the tab does not log you out. As long as you do not click on Log out, your session remains open β and anyone accessing this browser can consult your data.
Procedureβ
- 1
Open the user menu
Click on your avatar (or your initials) at the top right of the screen.
- 2
Click on Β« Log out Β»
The Log out entry is at the bottom of the menu, displayed in red.
- 3
Automatic confirmation
You are immediately redirected to the login screen. Your session is closed.
What happens in the backgroundβ
When you log out:
| Data | Fate |
|---|---|
| Access token | Removed from the browser and invalidated on the server side |
| Active organization | Forgotten β at the next login, your last organization will be offered |
| Selected Business Unit | Forgotten |
| UI preferences (collapsed sidebar, theme, etc.) | Preserved for your next login |
| Already seen guided tours | Preserved β the tours will not be relaunched |
Why not just close the tabβ
Closing a tab, or even closing the browser, does not delete either the access token or the cached data. If you checked "Stay logged in" at login, your session can remain valid for several weeks. Anyone who reopens this tab lands directly on your space.
Only explicit logout invalidates the session.
Special casesβ
I forgot to log out on another computerβ
For the moment, there is no "Log out all my sessions" button. If you fear that a device remains logged in:
- Log in from this device and log out properly, OR
- Ask your administrator to reset your password β this invalidates all existing tokens.
I am logged out alone after a period of inactivityβ
This is normal and intended: after a long period without activity, your session expires automatically for security reasons. Log in again as the first time.
The Log out button does nothingβ
Rare case. Try:
- Reload the page (Ctrl+R / Cmd+R) then try again.
- Clear the browser cache, or use a private browsing window to log in elsewhere.
- Report the problem to the Unisoft team.
And after?β
- To log in again: review First login.
- To prepare a team change: See the next steps or consult the access management in the My account section.
