Interactive guided tours

On your first visit to an important Unisoft page, a guided tour is triggered automatically. These are short help bubbles that point to the important elements of the page, step by step.

The goal: to give you the keys to the module without having to read the documentation beforehand.

How it appears​

After a few moments after opening a page:

  • The screen is veiled in semi-transparent gray
  • A help bubble appears, attached to a specific element of the interface
  • A short title and an explanatory text indicate what this element is for
  • Previous, Next and Skip buttons are available

Some tours advance automatically when you click on the highlighted element: for example, if the tour asks you to click on a button, doing the click goes to the next step.

"Already seen": how Unisoft remembers that​

Once you have finished or skipped a tour, Unisoft marks it as seen. It will no longer be relaunched automatically.

  • The memorization is done on your account (server side), so it follows you from one device to another.
  • A local copy is also kept in your browser for instant display.

Replay a tour​

If you want to review a tour that you have skipped or finished, open the help menu (icon ? in the header, depending on your version) and choose Replay the tour of this page.

The tour will restart from the beginning, as on the first visit.

Modules covered by a guided tour​

As of 17 May 2026, Unisoft offers tours on these areas:

Overview​

  • Dashboard — overview, payments, subscriptions, pledges, calendar, quick actions
  • Explore — creation of custom views on your data

Finance​

  • All payments — list, filters, search
  • Monthly (recurring) payments — management of direct debits
  • Donation pledges — commitment and tracking
  • Subscriptions — view dedicated to active subscriptions
  • Tax receipts — declarations and issued receipts
  • Budget — accounts, booklets, tracking
  • Expenses — outflows and spending
  • Income (other products) — revenue outside payments
  • Inter-booklet transfers — movement between accounts
  • Bank reconciliation — check-off with statements

Payment pages​

  • Funds — targeted collections
  • Forms — list of forms
  • Form detail — editing a form
  • Submissions — received responses
  • Event Journey (EJ) — list
  • Detail of an Event Journey — programming

Contacts​

  • Contact catalog — search and import
  • Contact record — detail
  • Interactions — history
  • Congregants — community management

Communication​

  • Messages & campaigns — communication campaigns
  • Reminders — automatic follow-ups to congregants

  • CMS pages — editing the content of the public site

Disable all tours in advance​

There is no global option to disable all tours at once for the moment. But since each tour only triggers once and you can skip it in a second via the cross, the experience remains smooth even if you prefer to explore on your own.
