Site configuration

View of the Β« site configuration Β» page

The Configuration page (/app/web/config) groups together the functional settings of your public site. It doesn't touch appearance (colors, fonts, sections) β€” for that, see the Site theme page. Here, you manage two things:

  1. The links to your social networks, displayed in the public site footer.
  2. The bank fees suggestion threshold applied in the donation funnel.

Access the page

In the backoffice, expand Website in the left sidebar, then click on Configuration.

The direct URL is /app/web/config.

Section 1 β€” Donation configuration

The first block concerns your public site's donation funnel.

Suggest adding bank fees if greater than

When a donor pays online by bank card, the payment generates bank fees (Stripe commission, PayGreen, or other gateway). So that these fees are not absorbed by your community, Unisoft can suggest to the donor to add fees to their donation at the time of payment.

You set the minimum amount here from which this suggestion is displayed. For example, if you enter 50, the suggestion will only appear from a donation of 50 € upwards. Below that, the donor will not be offered anything.

The unit (€, $, Β£, β‚ͺ, etc.) is automatically adapted to your organization's main currency.

Section 2 β€” Social networks

Five fields allow you to enter the public URLs of your accounts:

NetworkExpected formatExample
WhatsAppLink to your channel, group, or numberhttps://wa.me/33612345670
YouTubeChannel URLhttps://youtube.com/@beth-david
FacebookPage URLhttps://facebook.com/beth.david.paris
InstagramProfile URLhttps://instagram.com/beth_david
TikTokProfile URLhttps://tiktok.com/@beth.david

Each entered link makes the corresponding icon appear in the footer of your public site. Fields left empty generate no icon β€” you will therefore never see an "empty" logo that would point nowhere.

  • In the footer of all public site pages (a small row of clickable icons).
  • In certain call-to-action blocks on the pages where visitors are invited to follow the community (depending on the sections enabled in the theme).

Validate changes

Click Validate at the bottom of the form to save. A success notification appears at the top right; in case of error, a failure message is displayed and the changes are not taken into account.

The changes are visible immediately on the public site (the cache is invalidated automatically upon saving).

Complete example β€” Beth David community

For the Beth David community, Sarah LΓ©vy enters:

  • Bank fees threshold: 30 (the suggestion will be displayed from a donation of 30 €).
  • WhatsApp: https://wa.me/33612345670
  • Facebook: https://facebook.com/beth.david.paris
  • Instagram: https://instagram.com/beth_david
  • YouTube: left empty (no channel)
  • TikTok: left empty

She clicks Validate. A few seconds later, when opening the public site https://beth-david.unisoft.world, she sees three icons (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) in the footer that open the correct profiles in a new tab.

Virtual sites: separate configuration

If your organization manages several virtual sites (for example a site dedicated to a kollel or a choir in addition to the main community), each site has its own configuration. To modify it, the URL takes the form /app/web/config?virtualId=… β€” the Unisoft team will tell you the exact value to use when creating a virtual site.

The values entered on the main site do not propagate automatically to virtual sites.

Pitfalls

Going further

  • Site theme β€” colors, fonts, hero, sections, all the visual appearance.
  • My pages β€” create custom CMS pages (About, Contact, etc.).
