Settle an account

Settle closes the accounting view of a completed ledger, cash account, campaign, service, or ledger group. It is not available for the main fund.

Open the card menu, choose Settle, and select a destination account for every non-zero currency. Unisoft creates one transfer per currency, then marks and hides the account. If every balance is already zero, it is simply marked as settled.

Settling a campaign or pot account does not delete or deactivate that campaign or pot. Enable Show settled accounts to review it again. Administrators with operation-management rights can perform this action. Use archive instead when you only need to hide a simple ledger without transferring funds.
