Budget overview
The Budget page is your daily starting point for steering your community's cash flow. It gives at a glance the total available balance, the distribution between containers (main cash register, booklets, funds, campaigns), and the latest operations on each container.
Access the Budget pageβ
- 1
Open the Budget module
In the left sidebar, click on Budget.
- 2
Wait for loading
The balances of each booklet are fetched in parallel. The screen may display loading skeletons for a few seconds if you have many booklets.
The admin URL is /app/comptes.
Page anatomyβ
The Budget page is broken down into four main areas:
| Area | Position | Content |
|---|---|---|
| Sub-header | At the top, full width | Total balance + reconciliation button + "Create a Booklet" button |
| Breadcrumb + association selector | Below the sub-header | "Budget" title and association drop-down menu |
| Card grid | Center of the page | One card per budget container (cash register, booklets, funds, campaigns) |
| Modals | In the foreground when called | Booklet creation, funds transfer, booklet detail |
The sub-header: your quick dashboardβ
At the top of the page, the sub-header displays your total balance for the current selection.
The total balanceβ
The total balance is the sum of all balances of visible containers, in your main currency.
| Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | Global positive balance (surplus cash flow) |
| Red | Global negative balance (deficit situation) |
| Blue | Global balance at zero (exact balance) |
The detail per currencyβ
If you have operations in several currencies (EUR, USD, ILS, etc.), a panel "Balance detail (without conversion)" opens by clicking on it. It displays the sum per currency, without conversion, allowing you to see exactly how much you have in each currency.
The Β« Bank Reconciliation Β» buttonβ
To the right of the sub-header, a Bank Reconciliation button appears if you have the bank.read permission. A red badge indicates the number of bank transactions not yet validated.
See Access bank reconciliation.
The Β« Create a Booklet Β» buttonβ
The Create a Booklet button (in cyan) opens an entry window to add a new dedicated booklet to your Budget.
See Create a booklet.
The association selectorβ
Just below the Budget title, a drop-down menu "All associations" allows you to filter the view by organization.
| Selection | Effect |
|---|---|
| All associations | Consolidated view, all booklets of all organizations visible |
| A specific association | Isolated view, only the booklets of this association |
The selector remains visible but has only one active option. You can ignore it.
The card gridβ
In the center of the page, each budget container (main cash register, booklet, fund, campaign, Event Journey) appears as a card:
- One card per container
- Three cards per row on a large screen, two cards on a tablet, one card on mobile
- Sort order: the main cash register appears first, followed by booklets, funds and campaigns
Each card displays:
- The name of the container
- The current balance (with color code)
- A preview of the latest operations
- Action buttons: Transfer, View More
See Read a booklet card.
What happens if the page is empty?β
If you have no booklet created and no payment has yet been recorded, the page only displays the Main cash register with a zero balance. This is the normal starting point for a new organization.
To start, create your first booklet: see Create a booklet.
Performance and loadingβ
The Budget page fetches the balances in batch (a single call for all containers) then displays the cards progressively. With a dozen booklets, the full loading usually takes less than 2 seconds.
If you see skeletons (gray placeholders) after more than 10 seconds, reload the page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R).
