Preview: View grouped by occasion

The Occasions view aggregates your pledges by commitment context: all commitments made at the Gala 2026, at Rosh Hashana, during the Prayer hall works campaign, etc. It is the ideal view to do the review of an event and compare performance between editions.

Enable the Occasions view

  1. 1

    Open the Pledges module

    Sidebar β†’ Finance β†’ Pledges (/app/promesses/list).

  2. 2

    Switch the view

At the top right, in the view selector, click Occasions (calendar icon).

The list refreshes: instead of one row per pledge, you see one row per occasion.

What the view displays

Each row represents an occasion with its aggregates:

ColumnInformation
OccasionLabel ("Gala 2026", "Rosh Hashana", "Hall works")
Number of pledgesTotal count for this occasion
Number of distinct donorsHow many people committed
Total pledged amountSum of commitments
PaidSum actually paid
RemainingBalance still to collect
Fulfillment ratePercentage of the total already paid
CurrencyCurrency used

Pledges without occasion (empty field) are grouped under a row "No occasion".

Open the detail of an occasion

Click an occasion's label to open the complete list of pledges linked to that occasion (detailed view filtered).

You can then:

  • View the detail of each pledge
  • Identify donors who have not fulfilled their commitment
  • Launch a targeted follow-up campaign (series of manual reminders)
  • Export the complete review as CSV

Typical use case: post-gala review

You have just organized the Gala 2026. A week later, you want to know where the commitments made that evening stand.

  1. 1

    Switch to Occasions view

Click Occasions in the view selector.

  2. 2

    Locate the 'Gala 2026' row

    You see immediately:

    • 27 pledges
    • €31,500 pledged
    • €8,200 already paid
    • €23,300 remaining to collect
    • Fulfillment rate: 26%
  3. 3

    Open the detail

Click "Gala 2026" to see the list of the 27 pledges.

  4. 4

    Filter on the unfulfilled

Filter on the Pending tab: you get the donors to follow up on priority.

  5. 5

    Launch a reminders campaign

For each row, send a targeted manual reminder.

Compare events against each other

The Occasions view lets you visually compare several similar events:

OccasionPledgesPledgedFulfillment rate
Gala 202525€28,00092%
Gala 202627€31,50026%
Rosh Hashana 202642€12,60078%

These comparisons help to:

  • Identify the best-performing events (fulfillment rate)
  • Justify investments (a gala that yields €30k is worth organizing)
  • Detect anomalies (Gala 2026 at 26% fulfillment rate β€” why? Economic crisis? Lack of follow-up?)

Combine with filters

The Occasions view works with all the filters available:

QuestionFilters + view
Review by occasion for the current yearFilter Creation date β†’ January 1 - December 31 + Occasions view
Performance of major pledges by occasionFilter Min amount 500 + Occasions view
Review for the main association onlyFilter Association β†’ Main + Occasions view

View limitations

  • No bulk action: to follow up 27 donors from a gala, you have to go row by row or use the filtered All view
  • No automatic temporal comparison: if you want to see the evolution of an occasion year over year, export and cross-reference manually
