My organization (identity)
This tab is the main legal profile of your community in Unisoft. Everything you configure here is used to identify your organization to your members, your donors and the administration: name, logo, address, and a few settings specific to Jewish communities (rabbinical opinion for zmanim calculations, languages of the public site).
Access itβ
- User menu: avatar at the top right β My Organization β My organization tab.
- Direct URL:
/app/info/tabs(default tab).
The profile fieldsβ
Logoβ
Square image that represents your organization. This is what is displayed:
- In the backoffice header (next to your organization name)
- As avatar in the user menu
- On public pages (site, payment pages)
- On tax receipts issued to donors
Recommended format: PNG or JPG, 872 Γ 872 pixels (square). The logo is displayed as a circle 100 Γ 100 in the backoffice, so favor a visual that supports circular framing well (centered logo, no text that touches the edges).

Nameβ
The full name of your organization, as it should appear officially (e.g.: Beth El Marseille Community). This is the name that will appear in the headers of tax receipts, emails and invoices. Required field.
Short nameβ
The acronym or short version of your name (e.g.: Beth El Marseille, or BEM). Used where the full name would take too much space: in the mobile header, in some lists, in the browser title bar. Required field.
Addressβ
The postal address of the head office of your organization (e.g.: 12 rue de la Paix). Used for the footer of your site, the legal notices and tax receipts. Required field.
Postal codeβ
The postal code corresponding to your address. Required field.
Cityβ
The city where the head office of your organization is located. Required field.
Rabbinical Opinion (halakhic zmanim)β
Choice between two rabbinical interpretations used by Unisoft to calculate the zmanim (halakhic times: sunrise, end of stars, Shema range, etc.) displayed on your public site and in some features related to the Jewish calendar:
| Option | Reference |
|---|---|
| Default (Shoulhan Aroukh) | Calculations according to classical rabbinical codes (default) |
| Chabad.org | Calculations according to the chabad.org methodology |
Choose the one that corresponds to your local tradition. If you are not sure, keep Default: it is the most common setting.
Additional Languagesβ
Multiple selection: add the languages in which your public site should be translated, in addition to the main language of your backoffice.
Available languages: French, English, Hebrew, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, German, Greek.
Once a language is added, your visitors can switch the language from the selector displayed on your public site, and your content (pages, events, schedules) can be translated.
The two shortcuts at the topβ
Above the form, two buttons give quick access to useful functions.
Tax Receipt Exampleβ
The blue Tax Receipt Example button downloads a PDF preview of the tax receipt as it will be issued by your organization to your donors. It is very useful for:
- Visually checking that your logo, name and address display correctly
- Showing an example to a future donor who is wondering what the document they will receive looks like
- Checking the appearance after a profile modification
If you manage several virtual organizations, this button transforms into a drop-down menu to choose the organization whose tax receipt example you want to see.
Links (Main Cash Register)β
The drop-down menu Links currently offers a single link: Main Cash Register Link. It generates a multi-currency Stripe payment link pointing to the default main cash register of your organization.
This is useful when you want to share a generic donation link (by WhatsApp, by email, on a flyer) without configuring a specific fund or form. The donor arrives on a Stripe payment page, chooses their currency, their amount and pays.
Saveβ
Click on Validate at the bottom of the form. A notification confirms the save.
To rememberβ
- This tab defines the legal and public identity of your main organization.
- All required fields (Name, Short name, Address, Postal code, City, Rabbinical opinion) must be filled in.
- The logo is used everywhere β prefer a square 872 Γ 872 visual that supports circular framing.
- The rabbinical opinion influences the zmanim displayed on your public site.
- The additional languages determine the available translations on the site.
