Transfers

Open in Unisoft

The Transfers module lets you track the bank transfers that Unisoft makes to your organization's account after collecting online payments (bank cards, recurring payments, etc.).

This page is read-only: it is used to view the history and verify that a collection has been forwarded to your account. You never trigger a transfer manually from Unisoft β€” transfers are automatic.

Understanding the lifecycle of an online donation

When a donor pays online (donation page, form, event journey…), the money does not instantly land on your bank account. It transits through Unisoft's payment gateway. Here are the three steps:

  1. 1

    Collection by the gateway

    At the moment of payment, the money is collected by the secure payment gateway managed by Unisoft. The payment immediately appears in the Payments module with the "validated" status.

  2. 2

    Held in escrow

    The funds remain on the gateway's account for a few days. This period covers any chargebacks and allows several payments to be grouped into a single transfer.

  3. 3

    Transfer to your bank

    At regular intervals (usually weekly), the gateway triggers a bank transfer to your organization's account, after automatic deduction of Unisoft commissions.

It is this last transfer that appears on your bank statement and on the Unisoft Transfers page.

What you see on the page

The Transfers page (/app/virements/list) displays two blocks:

The pending balance (at the top)

A collapsible card presents the total amount of funds that have been collected but not yet transferred to your account. The detail is split by payment platform if your organization uses several (main bank card, other payment methods…).

This is the line that lets you answer the question: "How much collected money is still to be received?"

The transfers history (below)

A paginated table lists all transfers made to your account, sorted by descending date. For each one you see:

  • the date and time of the transfer made;
  • the platform it comes from;
  • the amount transferred to your account;
  • the number of payments grouped in this transfer;
  • a "View payments" button that opens the detailed list of donations included.

Multi-organization case

If your account manages several distinct legal organizations (for example a main association + an affiliated foundation), an additional Association column appears in the table. You can filter to display only the transfers of a given entity.

Each legal entity receives its own transfers on its own bank account β€” Unisoft never mixes the flows.

Takeaways

  • Transfers are the bank transfers from Unisoft to your organization's account; they are automatic, you do not trigger them.
  • An online payment does not arrive instantly on your account: the payment gateway holds it for a few days before including it in a grouped transfer.
  • The /app/virements/list page displays the pending balance and the history of completed transfers.
  • The "View payments" button of a transfer lists the donations that make up the amount β€” handy for accounting or to reply to a donor.
