Users and permissions
The Users page gathers all the people who can log in to your organization's backoffice. This is where you distinguish administrators (who have access to everything) from secondary users (whose each right is precisely defined), and where you open the permissions modal to adjust what each secondary can see and do.
Access itโ
Two possible paths:
- From the user menu: click your avatar at the top right, then Users.
- By direct URL:
/app/access/list.
What you seeโ
The page displays a single paginated table (10 rows by default) listing all members of your team. Each row contains:
| Column | Description | Editable inline? |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname | Initials or short first name used everywhere in the application (badges, payment signature, activity logs) | Yes โ click the pencil icon |
| Color | Background color of the avatar badge โ helps quickly identify who did what | Yes โ color selector |
| Last name | Last name | No (via support) |
| First name | First name | No (via support) |
| Address used for login and notifications | No (via support) | |
| Type | Administrator (red) or Secondary (blue) label | No (via support) |
| Permissions | Red key button that opens the granular permissions modal | Yes โ only for Secondary |
Filter and sortโ
- Search bar at the top right: full-text search on last name, first name, email.
- Sort by column: click the Last name, First name or Email header to sort.
- Pagination: classic 10-rows-per-page navigation at the bottom of the table.
The two user typesโ
See the page Understand roles and permissions for the complete list of rights.
Add a new userโ
This restriction guarantees that:
- A misspelled email does not create a phantom account in your space.
- New accounts are verified before activation.
- The history of team entries and exits is tracked on the Unisoft side.
Edit the permissions of a secondaryโ
For Administrator users, the Permissions column displays a dash: there is nothing to adjust (they have everything).
For Secondary users, a red key button opens the granular permissions modal. Complete details on the page Understand roles and permissions.
- 1
Locate the user
Use search or pagination to find the secondary to edit.
- 2
Click the key button
In the Permissions column, click the red key icon at the end of the row.
- 3
Adjust the rights in the modal
Check or uncheck the permissions by section (Contacts, Payments, Funds, etc.).
- 4
Validate
Validate button at the bottom of the modal โ the changes take effect immediately on the user's next action.
Link with Business Unitsโ
If your organization uses several Business Units (see the Business Units module), you can restrict a secondary user's access to one or several Business Units only, from the configuration page of the relevant Business Unit. Administrator users see all Business Units automatically.
Takeawaysโ
- The page lists all users of your organization, administrators and secondaries combined.
- Nickname and avatar color are editable inline โ no need to open a profile.
- Administrators have all rights and cannot have granular permissions.
- Secondaries are controlled by a permission list adjustable via the key modal.
- Creation of new users: through Unisoft support only.
