The Interactions tab is a contact's logbook: every call made, appointment held, home visit or simple free note left by a team member is recorded, dated and signed. It's the tool that transforms your contact base into a real CRM.

Without this tab, the information "I already called back David last week, he's getting back to us" is lost as soon as a colleague takes over. With it, any team member can open a profile and see in a second the latest exchanges.

The tab is accessible from each contact profile (/app/contact/fiche?id=...) by clicking on the Interactions panel. There is also a global view that aggregates the interactions of the entire base, accessible via the Interactions menu of the sidebar (/app/contact/interactions).

The contact's timelineโ€‹

The tab displays the contact's interactions, from most recent to oldest (reverse chronological order). Each interaction is presented as a card with:

  • a type tag at the top left (magenta): Call, Visit, Meeting, Appointment, Other, or a custom type,
  • a colored avatar of the team member who entered the interaction (the initials),
  • the list of actions performed as green tags (for example "Tefillin", "Neshek", "Discussion"),
  • the free text of the interaction,
  • the date and time at the bottom right.

For example, on Yossi Lรฉvy's profile, the tab could display:

๐ŸŸฃ Visit ยท ๐Ÿ”ต SAR Tags: Tefillin Discussion Yossi agrees to come to Thursday evening class. Remind him next week. Thursday May 14, 2026 at 18:32

Add an interactionโ€‹

Click on the Add an interaction button at the top right of the tab. The Add an Activity modal opens.

  1. 1

    Choose the type

Select from the list: Visit, Meeting, Appointment, Call, Other. You can also type a custom type (for example "Course", "Meal").

  2. 2

    Add actions (optional)

Check the actions performed: Tefillin, Neshek, Discussion are offered by default, and the list expands as your team adds its own tags. It's useful for religious communities that track the observance of congregants.

  3. 3

    Write the comment

Freely enter the content of the exchange in the text area. Be factual: what the person said, what they expect, what was agreed.

  4. 4

    Choose date and time

By default Unisoft offers the present moment. You can backdate to enter a forgotten call from the day before.

  5. 5

    Validate

The interaction appears instantly at the top of the timeline.

For the special case of a visitโ€‹

If you choose Visit as type, an additional field Full address appears. You note the visited place there (the home, the office, etc.) to easily find the history of visits by address.

Edit or delete an interactionโ€‹

On each card, the โ‹ฎ button (three dots) at the top right opens a menu:

  • Edit โ€” reopens the modal with pre-filled data to correct it,
  • Delete โ€” offers a confirmation then permanently erases the interaction.

Add an interaction to multiple contactsโ€‹

In the global interactions view (/app/contact/interactions), the Add an interaction button opens a variant of the modal that offers to select multiple contacts at once. It's useful to track a collective event: "Thursday evening class on May 14", "group call to Yom Kippur campaign donors".

The interaction is duplicated on each selected profile, with the same type, actions, comment and date. You thus keep the personal trace on each contact while entering only once.

The global interactions viewโ€‹

The page /app/contact/interactions is the overview: it lists the interactions of your entire base, all contacts combined, with filters and export.

Displayed columnsโ€‹

ColumnDetail
Creation dateWhen the interaction was entered or edited
ContactClickable link to the affected contact's profile
TypeMagenta tag: Call, Visit, Meeting, etc.
Actions performedCascading green tags

Available filtersโ€‹

  • Search by contact (search field at the top) โ€” restrict to interactions of a specific person,
  • Date range โ€” see only interactions over a period,
  • Advanced Mongo filters โ€” fine combinations by type, action or entry author.

CSV exportโ€‹

The Export button at the top right downloads a CSV file containing all filtered interactions: date, contact name, email, phone, type, actions and description. Handy to produce a monthly team activity report.

Best practicesโ€‹

Articulation with other toolsโ€‹

  • The Attachments tab is used for documents related to the contact (PDF, scans), not for notes: don't mix.
  • The Categories are used to classify a contact over time. The interactions are, on the other hand, one-off: one call = one interaction, not a new category.
  • The actions performed in the modal are not related to the contact's categories: these are two separate reference systems.
