Greeting and organization selector

At the top of the dashboard, two elements welcome you: a personal greeting and an organization/currency selector. The first is purely decorative. The second is the only global filter of the page — it drives everything shown below.

The « Hello [first name] » greeting

The message « Hello Sarah » (or « Hello David », depending on your first name) shown in the top left of the dashboard simply uses the first name stored in your Unisoft user profile.

How to change it

The greeting reflects exactly the first name of your user record. To change it:

   Open My account

   Click your avatar in the top right, then on My account.

   Edit your first name

   Change the First name field's value and save.

   Reload the dashboard

   The new first name appears at the next page load.

It's a small detail but it contributes to the experience: a personalized message every morning makes the tool a bit warmer.

The organization/currency selector — the only global filter

To the right of the greeting sits a dropdown menu. It is the only filter that applies to the dashboard. It drives all the figures displayed below (Payments, Subscriptions, Pledges).

The available options

Why several « All Associations » lines?

An organization may oversee several legal entities — for example a French cultural association (in €), an American 501(c)(3) organization (in $), and an Israeli amuta (in ₪). Since Unisoft doesn't convert currencies between each other, each currency has its own « All Associations in X ». This way you see the total collection per monetary zone.

What changes when you change the selector

All blocks below recompute immediately:

Block	Effect of the change
Payments (5 KPIs)	Recomputes on the new selection + currency.
Subscriptions (6 KPIs)	Same — only the subscriptions of this currency/asso.
Donation pledges (3 KPIs)	Same — only the matching pledges.
Calendar	Doesn't change — Hazkarot and birthdays are personal events of all your contacts, independent of the association.
Quick actions	Doesn't change — buttons stay identical.

No automatic conversion between currencies

If you switch from « ... in € » to « ... in $ », you will not see euro payments reconverted to dollars. You will see only the payments made in $. It's an exact measure per currency, not a multi-currency consolidation.

When to use what

Limits to know

No date filter on the dashboard

The organization/currency selector is the only available filter. You cannot:

• Filter the dashboard by custom period
• Compare two periods (e.g. this quarter vs previous quarter)
• Hide a block

For period analyses, switch to the Payments list which has advanced filters.

No personalization

The block order, their selection and their content are fixed for all organizations. If a block isn't useful to you (for example: no active subscription), it stays displayed at zero.

Selection remembered per session

The organization/currency selection is kept during your session. If you close and reopen the application, it may return to the default value (« All Associations in € »).
