Explore via Excel

For:Administrator

Explore via Excel lets you work with Unisoft data in an integrated spreadsheet. This workflow is a pilot enabled for selected organizations. If you cannot see the spreadsheet, continue with the classic view; your saved views remain usable.

Keep source data separate from your analysis

  • Data contains CRM results. These cells are protected by default.
  • Your personal columns and values enrich your work without becoming CRM fields.
  • Create an analysis prepares a private, fixed snapshot in Source, with editable Analysis sheets for notes and formulas.

Refreshing data does not replace an analysis’s Source snapshot. To analyze a new population, create a new analysis. Sharing a view does not share this private copy or another author’s personal values.

Check what has been loaded

The spreadsheet indicates whether you are viewing a complete snapshot of the selected scope or just one page. A loaded page does not represent your entire CRM. Filters and sorting remain tied to the view’s scope; related records open separately.

The pilot limits snapshots to 5,000 rows and workbooks to 100,000 cells, including headers, data, and analyses. If a view exceeds these limits, narrow its scope or return to the classic view.

Ask Yossi for an analysis

Describe the filters or calculations you need. Review the proposal before applying it. In an Analysis sheet, Yossi can suggest formulas and a filter; this action does not modify the Source or CRM records.

You can undo an applied proposal where the interface offers that option. Save the view afterward to keep your work. If you reject a proposal, your request remains available so you can rephrase it.

Edit a contact record

CRM editing is a separate capability authorized for selected organizations and users. In this pilot, only the contact description can be edited.

  1. Open the lock in Unisoft tools and read the warning.
  2. Unlock editing, prepare your changes, and review the before and after values.
  3. Explicitly apply the changes and check the result for each row.

Unlocking does not modify any record. Locking again preserves drafts but prevents their application. Check conflicts or uncertain results before retrying. Discarding a draft does not undo a change already applied to the CRM.

Choose an export

The global export reads authorized server data using the current filters and sorting. It does not include your personal columns.

The display export includes visible columns, currently loaded rows, and your personal values. A sheet describes its scope. Personal calculations are exported as values, with their expressions explained as text.

Pilot limitations

External workbook imports, macros, and full compatibility with complex Excel workbooks are not available. On phones, the classic view remains the default. In Hebrew, the interface follows the reading direction, while the spreadsheet grid remains left to right; return to the classic view if this makes your work difficult.
