Zalmi β the dashboard assistant
Zalmi is the Unisoft AI assistant integrated into the backoffice dashboard. Where Yossi lives in your WhatsApp, Zalmi lives in your interface: a discreet avatar in the corner of the header, which opens a side chat panel as soon as you need help or explanation.
He is the natural interlocutor for everyday product questions: "how do I duplicate an event?", "what is a Booklet?", "where are the tax receipt settings?". He knows Unisoft's vocabulary and your organization's context.
Where to find Zalmiβ
Zalmi is always one click away, from any page in the backoffice.
On desktopβ
The Zalmi avatar appears in the header, on the right next to the notifications and your user menu. A click opens a side panel on the right of the screen, which overlays the content without hiding what you were doing.
You can write your question, receive the answer in streaming, ask a follow-up question β then close the panel and resume your work where you left off.
On mobileβ
On smartphones and tablets, the avatar remains accessible from the top bar. The click opens a full-height chat page (/chat) optimized for mobile typing. There you find the same conversation and the same features as on desktop.
What Zalmi can doβ
Answer your questions about Unisoftβ
That's his primary function: an integrated support assistant. No need to open the documentation or send an email to support for common questions.
"How do I record a check?" "What is a Booklet?" "How do I duplicate an event journey?" "Where do I configure tax receipts?" "What's the difference between a fund and a campaign?"
Zalmi replies based on his knowledge of the Unisoft product and your organization's context. If the answer points to a documentation page, he gives you the link.
Guide you in the dashboardβ
"Where do I see my top donors this month?" "How do I export the list of my contacts as CSV?"
Zalmi knows the structure of the backoffice and can tell you where to click to reach the feature you're looking for. Handy when you know what you want to do but don't know where it is stored.
Power Unisoft's AI functionsβ
Zalmi is not just a chat: he is also the engine that powers several AI functions distributed across the product.
Content generation via the dedicated AI editors:
- AI Editor for emails β creating email templates via prompts
- AI Editor for pages β creating responsive CMS pages
You describe what you want in natural language, the editor generates the HTML, you preview live, you adjust with a new instruction. See Understand the AI Editor for the general concept.
Automatic translation of data-i18n-tagged elements in your web pages and content blocks. You publish your page in French, Zalmi translates into English (or into any language active for your organization) without you having to touch the HTML. The system preserves variables, URLs and tags β you get a directly usable version.
The conversation flowβ
Zalmi's chat interface follows the modern conventions of AI assistants.
| Element | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Input | Text field at the bottom of the panel. Enter to send. |
| Streaming response | Zalmi's text appears as it is generated β no blocking wait. |
| Stop button | You can interrupt Zalmi mid-reply if you want to rephrase. |
| Markdown | Replies can contain bold, lists, clickable links, code. |
| "Thinking" indicator | A discreet animation tells you that Zalmi is preparing the answer, before streaming starts. |
Concrete use casesβ
| Situation | What you ask Zalmi |
|---|---|
| You just clicked on a module you don't know | "Explain to me what the Pledges module is for" |
| You want to add a feature in a CMS page | "Generate a customer testimonials block for my home page" (then the AI Editor takes over) |
| You publish a page in French, you want the English version | "Translate this page into English" β the translation of tagged elements is launched |
| You are looking for a setting you can't find anymore | "Where do I find the email sending settings?" |
| You want to understand a dashboard KPI | "What does it mean, "M+3 retention"?" |
Limitations to knowβ
- No persistent history between sessions: each time you open the Zalmi panel, it's a new conversation. If you close the tab and come back later, you start fresh. Unlike Yossi (who keeps 15 minutes of WhatsApp context), Zalmi is designed for short exchanges in the workflow.
- No direct action execution: Zalmi explains to you how to do it, and generates content for you via the AI editors. But it's you who validates, saves, publishes. No risk that he modifies your data by mistake.
- Not yet integrated in all modules: Zalmi is focused on the dashboard and the AI editors. Advanced configuration modules (permissions, developer integrations) mostly benefit from his answers to your questions, not from dedicated AI actions.
- Progressive availability: Zalmi is being rolled out progressively. Depending on your environment, you see the full version (full chat) or a simplified version. If the avatar does not appear in your header, contact support for activation.
One AI, three entry doorsβ
To find your way in Unisoft's AI ecosystem:
| Tool | Where | For what |
|---|---|---|
| Zalmi | Avatar in the backoffice header | Product help, content generation and translation |
| Yossi | Quick actions on the go (reminders, pledges, searches) | |
| AI Editor | In CMS pages and email templates | Creation of HTML blocks generated by prompts |
All three rely on the same proprietary Unisoft AI engine and benefit from the same continuous improvements.
