View of the « hebergements » page

The Accommodations page (/app/travel/hotel) lets you publish on your tourism site a directory of establishments (hotels, apartments, guest houses) that your community recommends to travelers: local partners, trusted addresses, kosher accommodations spotted nearby.

It's the showcase tourists consult when they prepare their stay and look for a place to sleep near your Beth Habad or synagogue.

Accommodations managed manually, not in real time

This page concerns accommodations you list yourself (partners, recommendations, addresses known by the community). If you instead want to display the real-time availability of Airbnb or Booking.com, those are external integrations that are configured in the Site configuration (dedicated tabs) — not here.

Prerequisites

• You have at least one tourism site created in Unisoft.
• You have the Tourism permission (travel) on your account.
• The right site is selected in the top right of the page via the site selector (the Tourism module is multi-site: everything you configure applies to the active site).

Page overview

The Accommodations page consists of two distinct blocks:

1. Categories (top) — labels you define to classify your accommodations: « Hotel », « Apartment », « Guest house », « B&B »… Shown as clickable tags.
2. Accommodation list (bottom) — a reorderable table where each row represents an establishment with its thumbnail, name, category, address, contacts and actions.

In the top right of the list, a « View live » button opens the matching public page of your tourism site to check rendering on the visitor side.

Categories

Categories serve only to visually organize your directory on the public side: a visitor can, on the public page, filter by « Apartment » or « Hotel » to see only establishments of that type.

Add a category

   Click Add a category

   Blue button at the top of the « Categories » block.

   Enter the name

   Examples: « Hotel », « Apartment », « Guest house », « Youth hostel », « Residence ».

   Validate

   The category appears immediately as a clickable blue tag.

Edit or delete a category

Click on an existing category's tag to reopen the form and rename it.

Don't delete a category that's in use

If you delete a category while accommodations are attached to it, their « Category » field becomes empty. Remember to reassign them to another category before deletion.

Add an accommodation

   Click Add an accommodation

   Blue button in the top right of the « Accommodations » block.

   Fill in the main information

   See each field's detail below.

   Upload at least one image

   It's required: an accommodation without an image cannot be saved.

   Choose a thumbnail

   Click the star next to the image that will serve as thumbnail in the list and on the cards of the public site.

   Validate

   The accommodation appears immediately in the list and on the public site.

The « Kosher » badge

This simple boolean tells observant Jewish travelers they'll find suitable cuisine on site. It is not meant to detail the level of kashrut — for that, see the Kosher places page which offers dedicated fields (badatz, hechsher, etc.).

About the image gallery

• You can add several images of the same establishment (exterior, room, common area…).
• Images are reorderable by drag and drop in the gallery.
• The thumbnail (image marked with a full star) is the one shown:
  • in the admin list (« Image » column, 50×50 thumbnail);
  • in the public grid on the tourism site (establishment card).
• The other images are accessible in the detail page of the accommodation on the public side (carousel or full gallery).
• If you haven't designated a thumbnail, the first image in the gallery is used by default.

The accommodations table

The list displays, for each accommodation:

Image	The thumbnail (or first image), clickable to open in large size.
Name	The establishment's name, with the green « Kosher » badge underneath if applicable.
Category	Blue tag matching the category.
Address	The postal address as entered.
Contacts	The first 3 contacts (phone, email, WhatsApp) with their respective icons.
Actions	Edit (pencil) or Delete (trash, with confirmation).

Reorder the display order

The table is reorderable by drag and drop. The chosen order is the one used on the public page of the tourism site: place at the top the accommodations you want to highlight (main partners, top-priority establishments, etc.).

Edit an accommodation

Click the pencil icon in the Actions column. The creation form reopens with the existing values — modify the desired fields and validate.

Delete an accommodation

Click the trash icon. A confirmation is requested (action immediate and permanent: the establishment disappears from the public site right away).

Deletion is permanent

Unlike payment modules or pledges, there is no trash or soft-delete for accommodations. If you might need the listing later, duplicate the information into an external document before deleting.

Public-side display

On the visitor side, accommodations appear on the public accommodations page of your tourism site (typically accessible from the site's main menu).

• Card grid: one card per establishment, with its thumbnail, name, « Kosher » badge if applicable, category, abbreviated address and contacts.
• Detail page: a click on a card opens a dedicated page with the full image gallery, the rich description, the geocoded map, all contacts and the « Book online » button if a URL is set.
• Filters: visitors can filter the grid by category (the blue tags you've created).

The « View live » button at the top of the admin list opens this public page directly in a new tab — useful for immediately checking the rendering after a change.

Typical use cases

List your hotel partners

Your community has an agreement with two neighborhood hotels that offer preferential rates to visitors sent by the Beth Habad. Create a « Partner » category, add the two hotels with a nice gallery, mention the promo code in the description and publish.

List the community's furnished rentals

Several families in the community occasionally rent their apartment to visitors. Create a « Community rentals » category, add each apartment with photo, address, indicative price in the description and the host family's number as WhatsApp contact.

Offer a neighborhood overview

Your Beth Habad welcomes many tourists who don't know where to stay. List the 5–10 kosher (or kosher-friendly) accommodations of the neighborhood — even those with whom you have no commercial agreement. It's a service to travelers, with no commitment on your part.

The image is required — no listing without a visual

The form blocks you until you've uploaded at least one image. If you don't have a photo immediately, take a screenshot of the exterior from Google Street View as a placeholder while you get a clean visual.

The geocoded address is not a free entry

The address field works by autocomplete. Type the first letters of the address, wait for the suggestions, then click the one that matches. If you type the address without selecting a suggestion, the GPS coordinates will remain empty and the accommodation won't appear on the map on the public side.

Multi-site: check that the right site is active

If your organization manages several tourism sites (for example a main Beth Habad and an annex), make sure the right site is selected in the top right before creating an accommodation. A listing created under the wrong site won't appear on the right one.

One listing, one site

An accommodation listing belongs to a single tourism site. If you want the same listing on two sites, you have to create it twice (once per site). This is by design: content, contacts and booking URLs often differ from one site to another.
